Rathna Ella Fall
Rathna Ella belongs to the Kandy district and stands about 111 metres high. It is created by the Hasalaka Oya, which rises in the Knuckles Range, and ranks among the ten tallest falls in Sri Lanka. Legend ties it to King Ravana and the goddess Sita, and the spectacular body of water still captivates everyone who reaches it - the fall is also famous for its unexplained, “invisible” happenings.
