Rathna Ella Fall

Description

Rathna Ella Fall belongs to the Kandy district. The height is 111 meters. Hasalaka Oya, which starts from the Knuckles Range, creates Rathna Ella Fall. Rathna Ella Fall is the 10th tallest waterfall in Sri Lanka and is considered to be the place where King Ravana spent time with Goddess Sita.

However, Rathna Ella Fall as a spectacular body of water, captivating the eyes of visitors. Rathna Ella Fall is also very famous for its invisible events.

About 9 km from Mahiyangana town on Kandy road you will find the Gamini statue in Hasalaka. When you turn right with the statue and walk a little distance you will come across a junction called the "Palamu ela para". On the left you have to turn around and go inside. Roads are marked from there. If it is difficult to find, ask the villagers for directions.

How to reach: The closest city to this place is Hasalaka.
