Wewessa Ella Falls



Description

Wewessa Falls originate from a tributary of the Batulu Oya (Batulu River). The waterfall flows only during the rainy season. The forest is degraded and combined with colonization and illegal logging and is at risk of extinction. The fall can be found at the 5th-mile post on the Badulla Expressway in the Badulla District. About 9 km from Passara on the Badulla road, it is on the side of the road.
