Description

Kolapathana Waterfall is located in a small village called Mandaramnuwara in Nuwara Eliya. It's exact height is unknown but is believed to be no less than 50 meters. This beautiful waterfall is fed by a stream of water that starts from Pidurutalagala mountain.

Mandaramnuwara is a small ancient village in the Nuwara Eliya District at the foothills of Pidurutalagala at an altitude of 1250 m above sea level. Kolapathana Waterfall is the largest waterfall in Mandaramnuwara.

Route: From Nuwara Eliya, take the Nuwara Eliya-Uda Pusselwa Road, pass Kandapola and proceed to Mandapam to Kolapathana Waterfall.
