Makuluthota Ella: Waterfalls In Sri Lanka

Although not very popular among tourists, Makuluthota Falls can be described as one of the highest places in terms of beauty. This beautiful waterfall that flows along the Embilipitiya-Deniyaya road flows like a staircase . The waterfall falls in two parts as a staircase and in the first place is suitable for bathing.

There is a natural rock hole near the site of the falls that looks like a rock hole created by someone and can be a death trap when the water level is high. If bathing is done here, it is best to consult the villagers as well.
