Pudaluoya Falls (Dunsinan Falls) is a waterfall located in the Kotmale Divisional Secretariat Division in the Nuwara Eliya District of the Central Province of Sri Lanka. It flows in two parts and has a total elevation of 328 feet (100 m).
Pulu Oya Falls is located in the Kotmale Divisional Secretariat in the Nuwara Eliya District. The highest of the three floors of the falls, the Pudaluoya - Nuwara Eliya road, is the shortest but most beautiful section. That section is wider than a normal waterfall. But shorter in height. According to the book, this is about 330 feet high, along with the other two parts of the falls. From a distance, you can see the main road between the three and first and second floors of the falls. This waterfall attracts a large number of tourists from both local and foreign countries. The last thing I want to say is that you should go at least once to see this wide waterfall, which is truly a marvel of nature.
The amazing waterfall we are going to see today is on the Pudaluoya - Nuwara Eliya road. There are three names for this too. Some people say that this is Pulu Oya Falls. Others call it Dunsinan Falls. Others call it Sheen Falls. Anyway, this is the amazing Dunsinan Falls created by Pulu Oya.
This is called Pulu Oya because it was created from Pulu Oya. There are two large tea estates on either side of the falls. One is Dunsinan Estate. The other is Sheen Estate. The other names for the falls are due to the names of these two estates.
The nearby Hindu Devalaya and the fact that one of the Saraswati idols in the Devalaya is said to be located in the middle of the waterfall also make the waterfall special. On the one hand, it is a kind of sacredness.
From Thawalantenna you can turn around and go to two major cities. One is in Talawakele and the other is in Nuwara Eliya.
