Ulpotha Yoga & Ayurveda Retreat is a private hidden and sustainable traditional eco-village. Open 6 months a year for yoga and ayurvedic activities. The resort has accommodation as well as Ayurvedic doctors and yoga instructors. Ulpotha Yoga & Ayurveda Retreat offers guests world class yoga and traditional Ayurvedic healing.

Ulpotha Yoga & Ayurveda Retreat, inheriting 25 acres, is located about 50 km from Dambulla. There are attractive Wattle and Dob huts. These huts are designed to be natural. They have comfortable beds, excellent mosquito nets, cupboards, towels, and sarongs to wear and take home.

Ulpotha Yoga & Ayurveda Retreat has no electricity and old- The beauty of fashion is still preserved. Roads and lodges are lit up. Every hut is painted by the locals. This coloring twice a year re-colors the villagers with different colors and designs.

All food prepared at the resort is provided using traditional farming methods. Organic fertilizers are used for this purpose. The food is freshly prepared and is not stored in the refrigerator. The natural landscape and surrounding habitats allow you to roam free and have fun.

This place can be reached in 3.30 hours from Colombo (146 km) and in about 2.30 hours from Kandy (89 Km). It is a place where one can get a great deal of experience connected with the natural environment. It is a great place to get a taste of our meal and relax while enjoying local Ayurvedic and yoga practices as well as mental well-being.
