Description

Gawarawila Plains is a large mountain range. It borders the Central Province. It is an event that connects two provinces. The height of the Gawarawila main mountain is about 1980 meters and in addition there are two remaining mountains which are more than 1900 meters high. About ten waterfalls rise over this entire mountain range. Gawarawila Plains is a small Horton plain. But it is full of only dimensional shrubs.

Gawarawila Plains is a large fall area. We can also see Gawarawila as a mountain and Gawarawila Falls. All of this is intertwined. It is also the largest fall area in the Butterfly Reserve. It is also a semi-tributary event in the Kelani and Walawe rivers.

On a fog-free day, Samanala Kanda also looks amazing. This is a wonderful environment where you can go and enjoy the wonders of nature. This environment is still safe because human comfort did not collide much. Remember, it's okay to protect the environment and come back.

  • Remember to be prepared for heavy fog and strong winds
  • Start walking as early as possible to avoid the fog in the evening
  • Be sure to bring your own water bottle as the excess water here is not suitable for drinking.
