Description

Formerly known as "Gimhathiththa", Galle was then a major port city in the country. At the 12th UNESCO World Heritage Sessions held in 1988, the city of Galle, which was declared a World Heritage Site, was full of places like Galle Fort / Galle Lighthouse / Rumassala Kanda.
