Little Adam's Peak is another 1141 m high peak located close to the town of Ella. It is named as Little Adam's Peak because it has a similar shape to the Sri Pada / Adam's Peak. The height of Sri Pada / Adam's Peak. Is 2243 meters and the height of Little Adam's Peak is about half that. According to history, King Ravana used to worship the sun daily at this place.

The uniqueness of this mountain climb is that you can see some of the most beautiful views in a very short time. Little Adam's Peak consists of 3 peaks. It is possible to see different views from the top of each mountain. The trek takes about 2,3 hours on average. It is better to climb those mountains and have that experience than to describe it in words.

This climb is perfect for sunrise as well as sunset. You can choose it according to your taste and time. It is never suitable for mountaineering during the day. It will make you feel exhausted and time consuming. If you want to experience this beautiful place, you have to spend one night in the city of Ella.

An important point to keep in mind if you are climbing this mountain to watch the sunrise. The mountains around you are quite high and the time it takes for the sun to rise may vary with the actual time of sunrise.

From the starting point of the road, the road is lined with tea estates on both sides. At the beginning of this journey you will meet many tea picking ladies with beautiful smiles who will welcome you to Little Adam's Peak. It is another beautiful sight to behold at the beginning of the journey.

Climbing Little Adam's Peak is not such a dangerous journey and is easier than climbing Ella Rock. When you come to the top of the mountain, you will be amazed by the views of the earth. Ella Rock can be seen in front of the peak and Ella Wellawaya road can be seen from the foot of the mountain. It is a very beautiful and fascinating sight. But looking down from the top of the mountain takes on a somewhat scary nature.

About 1.5 km from Ella town you can reach the main entrance to Little Adam's Peak. You can take a bus or walk from Ella town if you want. Located near the Ella Flower Gordon Resort, a major holiday resort. This is a private estate. This is the main entrance to the Flying Ravana Mega Zipline. There is no charge for a Little Adam's Peak and you will have to pay a fee to go to Flying Ravana Mega Zipline.

Alternative route (This road was first used to reach Little Adam's Peak).
About 2 km from Ella town on the Passara Namunukula road is a very famous resort called 98 Acres. About two minutes after entering the gate, you will come across a small white Buddha statue. From there, the road to the top of the mountain is marked. So it will be very easy for you to reach the top of the mountain without a guide.

Another place you can visit after this trek is the Little Adam's peak to nine arch bridge at a distance of about 2.5 km from Little Adam's Peak Hill. You can get there in about 10 minutes.
