Description

Built by King Walagamba on an ancient site in the Galhebakade area of Anuradhapura, this stupa is similar in shape to the Thuparamaya. A large number of stone pillars have been found around this place and only a few stone pillars remain today. The stupa is about 10 feet high and 45 feet in diameter.
