Located in the Sambalathivu area of the Trincomalee District, this scenic beach is one of the cleanest beaches in terms of the impact of human activities. Situated close to the Nilaveli beach, this beach is adorned with golden sands. The sea is light blue due to the reflection of the sun from the bottom of the sand. The tourism and fisheries industries are active in the area to a considerable extent.

Uppuveli Beach is Another beautiful beach is about 3 km from Trincomalee. Nilaveli is located at a distance of about 13 km from the coast. The sea is a little rough during high winds. When the moon rises, it creates very beautiful views. Many people believe that this is the longest beach in Trincomalee. Fishing takes place on this beach and fishermen can support it if you wish.
