Tangalle Beach

Description

The sea in Tangalle area in the Hambantota district of the Southern Province is a wide bay area covered with a large coral reef. The upper part of the beach is adorned with soft golden sands and the beach area is full of tree branches. Although a large part of the sea area is unsuitable for swimming due to the high tides, Parevivella, a small area covered with coral reefs, is considered a suitable place for swimming. This is controlled by the Sri Lanka Navy so the security here is very high. The tourist attraction is even higher.
