Pluckers Hut: 360 View Point In Uduwara Of Sri Lanka

Pluckers Huts is one of the estates belonging to the Malwatta Plantation Company and is spread over 270 acres. Situated at an elevation of 1700 m above sea level, the estate is situated amidst the three towns of Hali-ela, Attampitiya and Bandarawela. This estate is known as the "Neluwa Estate". The hut, originally known as Pluckers Huts, was originally built to relax the plantation's leaf breakers. Also known as "360 View Point" .

If you are going from Badulla to see Pluckers Huts, you will come across Hali-Ela Welimada Road. Left at Morethota Junction, about 3km, the Kirinda road you will come across the Kirinda Temple Junction.

Turn right at Temple Junction and proceed along the estate, where you will come across a jungle with grapes from the tea estates. It is about 200 meters and when you pass it you will meet the tea estates again. When you go up another 2 km through the middle of the tea estates, you will meet the three-dimensional heart at the Neluwa estate. It is also known as the "16th Junction". Turn left at the 16th Junction and proceed for about 300 meters to reach Pluckers Huts. Especially along the way from Junction 16 to Pluckers Huts adds a never-before-seen bunch of amazing views. In fact, it cannot be described as literal. It takes about an hour to reach the Pluckers Huts destination by enjoying the beauty of the place and adding those beautiful views to your camera lens.

Going to Pluckers Huts will surprise you to the point where you can’t even imagine where you are all of a sudden. The scenery was so beautiful. I could not immediately imagine what kind of event this was.

We can see Demodara circling the mountains from here, just below. And Mount Namunukula is looking at us as if asking us something. Also, I can't even imagine the beauty of the cross section of Little Adam's Peak and Ella Rock. Nayabedda Mountain, Pilkington Point - Poonagala Mountain and the Horton Plains border, Pidurutalagala, Hakgala Mountain and Narangala mountain have a 360 degree view. In addition, the city of Wellawaya can be clearly seen and the Badulla Railway from Ella as well as the Ella Wellawaya Highway can be seen from here. So this is what it means to be fascinated by nature when you return to a place like this.

This lovely tourist event is still not popular among tourists. The reason is that tourists are not aware of this place. Then you too can go one day soon and get this wonderful experience.

This hut was built in the year 2003. But unfortunately by today (12/07/2020) this hut will not be seen here. Also, the big tree that was here is not seen here today. This place is being destroyed day by day due to the adverse actions of the people. Also plastic and polythene can be seen scattered. Keep in mind that it is your duty as well as your responsibility to allow these beautiful views to be watched by your future generations as well as yours.

Go to the top of the Pluckers Huts, reducing the plasticity as much as you can. Remember that it is your duty to love the environment and bring back all the garbage you carry.
