Description

Thalahagama Water Bubble is a natural water bubble located in the Thalahagama area in the Matara District in the Southern Province of Sri Lanka. The Thalahagama water bubble leaks more than 1000 liters of water per hour. The sea is 25 kilometers away from this bubble there for this bubble has a slightly salty taste. The bubble is thought to be connected to the sea.

This water source has been a great relief to the people of Thalahagama and surrounding villages such as Uggas Hena, Kambi Adiya, Wilpita and many other villages due to the severe drought.
